Now that things have been switched around a bit,  it’s time to reload some pictures.    The MVRHA has a website at www.mvrha.org that explains who we are & what we’re about.  The steel mills were a big part of Youngstown & the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. was most likely the biggest.   The 301 was built just for the YS&T and is on display at the nearby Canfield Fairgrounds.  Since our focus is on steel mills you’ll be seeing more cars used by the mills.  I’ll also try to give some history of the cars as time goes by.

Hi everybody!!! This being my first post, you’ll have to put up with me until I get a handle on this. Once I get going, this will be mainly for updates for the Mahoning Valley Railroad Heritage Assoc. There will be other stuff so check back & see what it is.
